How To Start On Skyblock
This post will give you a rundown of the servers features! NOTE: not all features will be listed here, just the important ones!
Starting On MercyPvP Skyblock
When you first log on you will be given a MOB SWORD, this is the only way you can kill mobs on the server. (No Fall Damage, No Lava damage) This is also your Omni tool ( Mob Sword, Harvestor Hoe & Fishing Rod) it’s impossible to lose as well! Now how do we upgrade it?
Orbs, orbs are currently the only way to upgrade your Omni tool! And how do you get orbs? You get them by Farming, Fishing & Killing Mobs! (Check out some public mob grinders on the server with /pwarp)!
What’s a fast way to get more orbs? Easy! Just upgrade your orb thief on your harvestor hoe so you can get more every time you farm!
Gems & Mission EXP
Gems and Mission EXP are both obtained the same way! Either by doing /is missions or /skills! Why do we need Gems and mission EXP? I’ll tell ya just keep reading!
Gems, Gems is another currency on MercyPvP!! The only thing you can do with Gems is buy spawners! Yes this is cool and you can buy as many as you want! Just know, you can’t place the spawner if you don’t have enough Mission EXP
Mission EXP, What is Mission EXP? Its Island Missions! Called Progression! You need to do these missions in order to place certain spawners. You may be wondering, WHY?? This is something we wanted to do to make the server feel more grindy and more like a tycoon. If you want to complete your Island Missions do /is missions
Skills, Currently there is only 1 Skill Tree available on Skyblock. It’s the Farming Tycoon Skill. You can check out all the rewards by doing /skills
The Cave
The cave is a scary and treacherous place, It’s dark and cold, filled with Skeletons and Mosquitoes!! But here you will find blocks that bring your island value WAY UP it only costs you 100k each time you visit! Just remember Keep Inventory is off! And ALL Custom Enchants are enabled!
Why should I go to The Cave? it doesn’t matter if your are a casual player, or a competitive player. The cave is meant for everyone! Here everyone has a fair shot at getting value blocks such as (Deepslate Copper Ore, Horn Coral Blocks and more) You even get mobs that drops credits for /creditshop!
