Network Wide Rules
These rules are standardized rules that apply across the entire network and all its gamemodes. The individual gamemode rules will always take precedent over network wide rules.
Chat Rules
• Keep all chats/chatting appropriate. Do not discuss anything PG rated, controversial, or political.
• Keep everything nameable in-game appropriate. eg. (player warps, faction names, item names, nicknames, pets, paintings etc)
• Swearing is allowed but within reason. Do not overuse swear words and NEVER use swear words directed at other players.
• Be respectful with ALL players & staff under all circumstances.
• Do not spam in any way, or attempt to bypass our spam filters. eg. (signs, chat, commands, etc)
• Do not harass, bully, or threaten any players or staff.
• Racism, Discrimination, or any form of Hate Speech is explicitly not tolerated.
• Do not advertise, link, or promote any services that are not related to Complex Gaming.
• Inappropriate Skins/Capes are not allowed. eg, (racist skin, naked lady skin etc)
• Only use ENGLISH in the main chat. If you want to use another language please use /msg.
Gameplay Rules
Behaviour that creates a toxic and non-welcoming atmosphere will not be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to:
• Do not Trap Teleport/Trap Kill players.
• No hacked clients/illegal mods. eg, (killaura, reach, auto clicker, hotkeys, x-ray, etc.)
• EasyPlace/Printer or any similiar function is not allowed.
• Do not modify functions of keyboards and mouses for an increased advantage. (Autoclicking, etc)
• Do not abuse bugs/exploits/glitches. These should be reported to staff through our Discord.
• Do not AFK MINE or FARM. Any form of macros/auto clickers will result in punishment.
• Do not scam other players. If you commit to a deal/trade you must hold up your end of the deal.
• Do not make inappropriate builds.
• Do not impersonate staff members, or pretend to be a rank you are not.
• Do not camp claimed areas of other players. This includes Islands/Claims/Builds etc.
• Do not reveal private information of any player other than yourself.
• Do not GRIEF other players, claims, or the world. GRIEFING of any kind is not tolerated.
• Do not STEAL from other players, unclaimed builds is fairgame. [Excludes: Skyblock, Gens]
• We do NOT honor Membership deals (ex: 5 million IGM to join a island/town/etc.)
Misc. Rules
• Exchanging items for any currency other than for items or gift cards through our store is strictly forbidden.
• Do not BEG staff members for items, events, updates, punishments, etc. - Staff members are capable of the aforementioned of their own accord, but do not harass them for such things.
• Do not BYPASS punishments by any means (i.e. using alternate accounts, abusing in-game commands/items, etc.).
• If you lose items from server bugs, outages, scams, lag etc. We recommend having clip/screenshot evidence to be able to reliably assist you.
• We do not support loans in ANY capacity (Items / GC / etc.) and are HEAVILY ADVISED AGAINST. You are assuming all risk and responsibility if you do so.
Survival Specific Rules
• Do not claim along the borders of other claims for the sole purpose of preventing them from expanding. There needs to be at least a 2 chunk buffer between claims.
Skyblock Specific Rules
• Breaking rules above can result in a disqualification from IS top payouts. (Up To Staff Discretion)
• Using alts to AFK your farms or spawners is allowed.
• If a member wishes to leave an island and start their own, they are not allowed to take value from the island they are leaving regardless of if they gave that value to the island, and regardless of if the island owner is ok with it. This is allowed under NO circumstance.
• Splitting your island worth to try and compete for multiple IS top payouts is prohibited.
• When two islands wish to merge, they are not allowed to merge their value. One island may keep their island and value, and the other island must disband their island and join the remaining island.
• Insiding (joining and gaining the trust of an island to steal their valuables) is against the rules and will result in a permanent ban.
• 0 Tick farms and any variation of them are prohibited
Staff Discretion
Staff have the right reserved to make decisions based on their discretion, if you've received warnings and instructions from staff it is important to follow them to avoid punishments.
